Crafted with R-13 insulation and heavyweight, UV-resistant polyester Cordura HP, our covers provide superior defense against extreme temperatures, ensuring your plumbing stays safe during cold snaps. These bags slide on over the top of a freestanding backflow preventer. The sizes listed are outside dimensions — the bag size you need is probably going to be larger than your measurement. For example, a 29"Wx24"H will cover an assembly that is approximately 26" wide. When unsure of which size to order, size up — it traps more warm air, and the bags don't stretch. Custom modifications available.
Side Opening Pool Bag
Crafted with R-13 insulation and heavyweight, UV-resistant polyester Cordura HP, our covers provide superior defense against extreme temperatures, ensuring your plumbing stays safe during cold snaps. This bag slides on from the side, enveloping the pipe and the backflow preventer. It has hook and loop closure for the side that opens. A simpler option than the Austin Pool Bag, best fit for wall-mounted backflow preventers with no wall support bracket.
Yachtmaster Standard Insulation Bags (Premium)
Crafted with R-13 insulation and heavyweight, UV-resistant, solution-dyed acrylic fabric with acrylic coating for water repellency (Sattler Yachtmaster material). Water, stain, mold, mildew, fade & UV resistant. The dye is incorporated into the thread itself during manufacturing — not surface-dyed — so it will not fade. Sattler states the material won't fail due to UV exposure for 10 years. Same sizing guidance as the Standard Bags: sizes are outside dimensions, size up when unsure. This is the premium, longest-lasting material tier.
Austin Pool Bag
Crafted with R-13 insulation and heavyweight, UV-resistant polyester Cordura HP, our covers provide superior defense against extreme temperatures, ensuring your plumbing stays safe during cold snaps. This bag slides on from the side, enveloping the pipe and the backflow preventer. It has hook and loop closure for the side that opens. Additionally, the back part of the bag has another hook and loop closure that allows it to slide past wall supports and then close back up around them.
